With over 20 years’ experience as a qualified accountant and a track record of delivering positive outcomes across a wide range of transactions, Mark brings a wealth of expertise to every project. His approach is pragmatic and straightforward, ensuring even the most complex matters are explained in a way that’s easy to understand. For Mark, clarity and trust are non-negotiable.
What really drives him is seeing his team grow, both professionally and personally, and watching clients reach their goals. Whether it’s selling a business, acquiring one, or planning for the future, Mark is committed to making the process as smooth and successful as possible.
Outside of work, Mark’s world revolves around his family, music, and sport - because life isn’t all about deals and deadlines.
Andrew Norris
Corporate Finance Associate
Following a degree in Earth Sciences from Imperial College London, Andrew decided to change career paths and joined Rickard Luckin as a trainee in the audit and accounts department in 2015. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Andrew repurposed his training and joined the world of corporate finance, where his logical problem-solving skills and love for a challenge have continued to flourish. Andrew brings over a decade of experience in accountancy and corporate finance, with a broad range of experience across transactions, completion accounts, and earnouts.
Andrew takes great pride in ensuring that his clients receive the best results and are guided through transactions to successful conclusions that meet their objectives. On top of his transaction work, Andrew also has a keen interest in valuations and leads Attain Corporate Finance’s valuation assignments.
What interests Andrew is not just the numbers, but the opportunity to tackle complex problems and find innovative solutions that work for his clients.
Away from the office, Andrew enjoys running in the countryside, playing badminton, and indulging in good food.
Ella Young
Corporate Finance Manager
Ella joined the Corporate Finance Team in April 2024 and brings a wealth of hands-on experience advising clients on company sales, acquisitions and valuations. Having worked in Corporate Finance since 2017, she has built a reputation for being calm, committed and completely invested in helping business owners shape the next chapter of their lives.
What Ella enjoys most is managing sales processes for owners preparing to exit their business. She understands that it’s not just a transaction - it’s often a lifetime’s work - and she prides herself on guiding clients through the journey with care, clarity and confidence. Delivering an excellent service from start to finish isn’t just something she aims for; it’s what she’s passionate about. And being part of a supportive, energised team at Attain is a huge part of why she loves what she does.
Ella is part-qualified with the ACCA and holds a Level 3 Certificate in Corporate Finance, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.
Away from the world of deals and deadlines, Ella loves travelling with her fiancé and spending quality time with friends and family.
Hayley Churchyard
Corporate Finance Manager
Hayley is driven by a genuine passion for helping people and businesses achieve their goals.
A Chartered Accountant with 20 years of corporate audit and accountancy experience, Hayley values building strong relationships with her clients and gaining a deep understanding of their businesses, enabling her to provide tailored and effective support. She cares deeply about understanding what matters most to people and supporting their individual definitions of success.
Known for her strong organisation, clear communication, and practical approach, Hayley ensures projects run smoothly and efficiently, giving clients confidence every step of the way.
Outside of work, Hayley loves enjoying life to the fullest with her family and friends. This often involves being outdoors and keeping active, balanced with her love of good food. She brings the same energy and enthusiasm to her personal life as she does to her work.
Connor Woolner
Corporate Finance Senior
Connor is a Corporate Finance Executive at Attain and an ACA-qualified accountant, bringing over three years of corporate finance experience and more than four years working within accountancy practices as an auditor. His audit background has given him a sharp eye for detail - something that shows in everything from building complex financial forecasts to assisting with financial due diligence and valuing businesses with precision.
He’s a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) and holds the CISI Level 3 Certificate in Corporate Finance, adding technical depth to his practical experience.
What really motivates Connor is working closely with business owners to help them achieve their goals. Whether supporting a business sale, guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, or delivering valuations and general advisory support, he brings a thoughtful, numbers-driven approach combined with genuine enthusiasm for helping people move forward.
Outside of work, Connor follows Chelmsford City FC home and away - no matter the distance. When he’s not at a match, you’ll often find him out running or hiking. He’s taken on multiple charity hikes across the UK, combining his love of the outdoors with a commitment to giving back.
